Jeremy Leidhecker holds a B.S. in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s Degree in Conducting from Messiah College, and a Master's Degree in Scoring for Film and Visual Media from Pulse College in Dublin, Ireland. Currently, Jeremy resides in Dublin, Ireland, where he is a freelance composer and lecturer for the Masters in Scoring for Film and Visual Media Program at Pulse College, part of the world-renowned Windmill Lane Recording Studios. Jeremy also lectures on the Film Scoring Summer Programs in Varna, Bulgaria and Shanghai, China, serves as Assistant Musical Director and Conductor of The Commonwealth Pops Orchestra, and is an active arranger and composer for marching bands and music programs around the United States. Jeremy Leidhecker's compositions have won multiple awards in film music competitions worldwide. Jeremy is the 2015 winner of the Marvin Hamlisch Film Scoring Contest, with his score to "Flip" being chosen from over 500 composers from 50 countries. Previously, Jeremy's score to "Sebastian's Voodoo" was ranked 3rd of nearly 400 submissions from 33 countries in the 2014 film scoring contest sponsored by CINE. Jeremy was recently ranked 4th of 172 composers around the world in the 2017 Oticons Faculty International Film Music Competition, and 3rd in the renowned 2017 Transatlantyk Film Music Competition in Łódź, Poland. Jeremy is an orchestrator for Michael Cavanaugh, the star of Billy Joel's hit Broadway Musical, "Movin' Out", with his orchestrations performed by top-tier orchestras around the United States, including the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Nashville Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Pops, and more.
